What Does “Visa-Free” Mean?

“Visa-free” means Kenyan citizens can enter a country without applying for a visa beforehand. In some cases, you get a visa on arrival or an eVisa, which is quicker and easier than standard visa applications.

Travel Tips for Visa-Free Countries

  • Check your passport validity – It should be valid for at least 6 months
  • Book return/onward tickets
  • Have proof of accommodation and funds
  • Carry a yellow fever vaccination certificate for some African countries
  • Keep updated on entry restrictions (e.g., COVID-19 rules)
