Who Needs a TSC Number?

TSC Number Registration Requirements (2025)

To apply, you must scan and upload clear copies of the following documents:

  1. Certificate of Good Conduct
  2. Certified academic and professional certificates (KCSE, KCPE, Degree/Diploma, PGDE, etc.)
  3. Bank slip for registration fee payment (KSh 1,060 via Pay Bill)
  4. National ID or Passport
  5. Passport-size photo (soft copy)
  6. KRA PIN Certificate
  7. GP69 Medical Form (signed by a licensed government doctor)
  8. Affidavit (for cases of name discrepancies)
  9. Declaration form downloaded and signed

How Much is the TSC Registration Fee?

  • KSh 1,060 (Payable via MPESA Paybill)
  • Paybill Number: 222222
  • Account Number: Your full name or ID number

How to Apply for a TSC Number Online

Step 1: Visit the TSC Online Portal

Go to https://teachersonline.tsc.go.ke/

Step 2: Click on “New Teacher Registration”

You will be redirected to the registration form.

Step 3: Fill in Personal Details

Enter your name, ID number, phone number, email, and address.

Step 4: Upload Required Documents

Attach clear PDF or JPG files (each file should not exceed 1MB).

Step 5: Make Payment

Pay the KSh 1,060 via MPESA using the Paybill provided.

Step 6: Submit the Application

Click “Submit” once everything is correctly filled. You will receive a confirmation email or SMS.

Step 7: Wait for Approval

Approval takes 30 days. You can track the status online using your ID number.
