Overview of the Internship Programme
This internship programme is designed to support the Affordable Housing Programme under the Ministry of Lands, Public Works, Housing, and Urban Development. It will run for 12 months (non-renewable) and aims to equip young professionals with relevant field experience.
Stipend and Certificate
Interns will receive a stipend paid by the government. Upon successful completion, you will be awarded a certificate by the State Department for Housing and Urban Development.

Internship Requirements
To qualify for the internship, you must:
- Hold a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in any of the listed professional areas from a recognised university.
- Have graduated in 2018 or later.
- Be proficient in computer skills.
Internship Duties
Interns will:
- Perform duties assigned by supervisors.
- Document their learning experiences and contributions.
- Participate in mentorship activities across housing and marketing projects in Kenya.
